If you do decide to sign up for CashCrate or anything else I post in my blog. please send me an e-mail or leave me a comment. I'd love to know how many people sign up, and how many of them are getting success like I am!

I'm already at 25 bucks for the month this month. I'm still trying for my original dollar a day plan. It doesn't take much time. It's usually only one or two surveys :)

Woot, I'm super excited that my CashCrate check will get sent in two days! My pay date is the 15th.

So far I'm at 14.45 this month. I've been busy for a week, cut me some slack ;-P

More to come soon; I'm working on a post about ExTrEmE Couponing!

Cash Crate FTW

June Payout- 31.76

So I've made a few bucks this past week using the survey website CashCrate. I've gotta say, I was surprised. I was very skeptical at first. I mean, how many spam e-mails do you get a week advertising a way to make easy money from home? Even the sign up process is simple. I kept waiting for it to ask me for something that would let me know it was bunk... a social security number, a bank account number, a DNA sample.... Nada. They asked for an e-mail address, my home address (to send my check) and my phone number. The pay period ends on the last day of the month, and the checks are mailed on the fifteenth of the month. So, hopefully by the twentieth of July I'll have some extra cash to play with.

After filling out the basic info, I got to the main navigation page. It was so insanely simple. I kept waiting for it to get harder, but it didn't. You can organize the surveys in multiple different ways (I always choose "100% free" and then by "Payout") and you simply click the provided link to begin. That's it. No weird link-by-link clicking, no navigating past paid offers to get to the free ones. Tada! You're getting started.

Now, getting started on the surveys... this is where some may find it a bit tricky. IT is fairly straightforward, however. You simply sign up for whatever free offer is being pitched, using a valid e-mail address. (That's easy enough to come by, isn't it?) You also want to use a valid address and phone number where it's asked for as well. Now, the clicking; oh, the clicking. I click "no" to every offer they pitch at me. Some pages will tell you that you must click yes to at least one offer; that's okay, you can just navigate past it on the next page. Continue on until you reach a page that gives you a "Congratulations" message, or a "We're holding this Wii for you!" or something of the sort. Typically there will be a selection of silver, gold, or platinum offers for you to choose from. I click a few of these and just let them sit. You DO NOT have to actually complete any of these unless you actually want the Wii, or the gift card, or the dinner, or the band aids... you get my drift.

Back to the main CashCrate page! To the right of the link you just clicked, past the cost and payout listing, you'll see a button labeled "Submit". Click it. Bingo, Abracadabra, Bob's your Uncle, you're done. The monetary "payout" amount will now be listed at the top of the page under "pending earnings". When the site you just completed the survey at confirms that you did indeed perform the task required, your account will be credited. BE PATIENT. I don't delete anything out of my pending offers unless two days has gone by. Some sites take a while to get their act together.

As a general rule, I also clear my browser cookies between surveys. I find it helps them load faster. I also use multiple e-mail addresses when signing up for offers. Only having five or so offers pending at a time has been touted on the forums as a great way to improve your offer confirmation rate; I have yet to play with this idea.

So, now that a survey has been completed, cookies have been cleared.... lather, rinse, repeat. I spend on average three minutes per survey.

Minimum required amount for a payout is ten dollars. I had fifteen within a day or so. It's not hard, I promise. So, why not give it a shot? In nine days, I made 31.76. I would have been sitting on my butt on the internet anyway.... why not do something productive with my time?

I guess the most important question is this.... how many gallons of gas did I just pay for sitting on my butt, clicking mouse buttons?
